The Erasmus Mundus External Cooperation Window Lot 8 (EMECW8) for Iran, Iraq and Yemen provides funding opportunities for students, researchers and academic staff to take part in 'mobilities' between the target group countries Iran, Iraq and Yemen and the European Union.Above-mentioned nationals can now apply via the website http://www.erasmusmundus8.net and choose from a wide variety of academic fields. They have the choice of a number of study levels, as well as the option to study at 10 leading European Universities. The programme will finance mobility expenses (i.e. travel costs, subsistence allowances, tuition fees, and insurance costs). For more information about this Erasmus Mundus External Cooperation Window, see http://www.erasmusmundus8.netPlease note that the official application deadline is 10th May 2009 and that scholarships of this programme are being provided pending the decision of the European Union to grant the funding for this new round. We expect the definite outcome to be announced in May / June 2009.
