Geo-Spatial and SDI Master Class

Students who are in their Bachelors or Masters can register for the geo-spatial & SDI Master classes by state of the art professors and captains of industry, without having to pay the regular fee. During the master classes contemporary problems concerning geo-information and geo-information infrastructure (Spatial Data Infrastructure -SDI) will be dealt with. The problems will be approached from multiple angles, where policy, technology and organisation will come together. At the end of the day, you will receive a certificate proving your participation. The entire Master class program can be found here.Besides participation in the master classes, the Geo Youth Capital is the supreme occasion to meet future employers. At the ‘trade show' of the GSDI 11th World Conference, which runs parallel to the program, you will find a broad range of interesting companies from the geo sector. Prior to the conference, a contest will be held, organised by Microsoft Netherlands and the VU University: the Share Your Virtual World Contest. The winners will be awarded by means of an internship at Geodan, a balloon flight for 2 persons or a digital SLR camera. Check the website to view the rules and the submission form. You can participate on an individual or group basis.Students can register for the master classes at no cost and catering is included.
